Villa Description

Villa Sara is a stone oasis surrounded by vineyards of a small Istrian village of Bajkini, which has a reputation for its renowned wines, intact nature and hospitable locals. In the nearby Vižinada (about 3 km from the villa) and its surroundings there are a few stores, fine restaurants, typical Istrian taverns, and rural households that specialize in agritourism and serve traditional Istrian dishes using old family recipes.

The towns of Poreč and Novigrad are a 20-minute drive from the villa. A 15-minute drive will take you to the medieval town of Motovun, very well-known among cinema enthusiasts for its international film festival, which takes place every year in July and holds all its evening screenings in the open air..

Bajkini village is a part of the wine region widely recognized for its production of top-quality wines. Take a few minutes’ walk from the villa and visit some of the famous winemakers situated in the vicinity.

Waterpark Istralandia, located on the surface of over 80,000 m2, is only 17 km distant from the villa. This water park offers a whole day entertainment for persons of every age and it is open from June till September.
